World Technology Awards

The World Technology Awards are presented each year to the outstanding innovators from each sector within the technology arena, both as a way to honor those individuals and as a vetting mechanism to determine the newest WTN members. The Awards are announced each year in a gala ceremony at the close of the annual World Technology Summit. The World Technology Summit is a global gathering of the WTN membership as well as other delegates.

Nominations are made both by current WTN individual members and by individuals and companies/organizations themselves. Finalists are comprised of the top five individuals or corporations who received the most votes by the WTN judges (individual WTN members). In some cases, there are more than five nominees in categories where there were ties in voting.

The dates of the 2013 World Technology Summit & Awards will be November 14/15, 2013, to be held at the Time & Life Building in New York City.

All Winner and Finalists are automatically inducted into the World Technology Network (WTN) as new individual Fellows or as new Corporate Members. There are twenty possible categories in which individuals can be nominated; ten of which also include the opportunity for corporate nominations.

Member-nominated nominees who do NOT make the short list become WTN Associates and are also, of course, considered part of the WTN community.
